In Como, different teams of researches work in multidisciplinary contexts, which are particularly dynamic thanks to the synergies with the economic and institutional entities on the territory.

The Como Campus is connected to:
- Polihub: the university start-up technology incubator that supports the development of innovative entrepreneurship and provides start-ups with the infrastructures and services they need in order to grow.
- Cefriel: a technological transfer center in the field of Information and Communication Technology.
- MIP: the Consortium for Innovation in Business Administration (Master Imprese Politecnico).
- POLI.design: a Consortium of the Politecnico di Milano operating in the field of design acting as an interface between universities, companies, and professional organisations, institutions and bodies.
